NICK HART

 

Nick has been working as a fly fishing instructor since he left college in the late 90s.  A passionate angler since the age of 4 he began his career under the watchful eye of fly fishing guru Simon Gawesworth.  Since then Nick has taught thousands of anglers how to cast a fly and guided in far flung countries such as Argentina.  A previous member of the England International Fly Fishing team, Nick also writes for Trout Fisherman and published his first book “The Essential Guide to Fly Fishing” in 2006.  Nick has appeared on both satellite TV and the acclaimed BBC2 series “The Urban Chef”. He is AAPGAI qualified, a platform demonstrator at the CLA Gamefair and a consultant to Hardy & Greys Ltd.  Nick spends in excess of 150 days per year passing on his love of fly fishing to guests visiting the West Country. 

 

He owns and manages the shop based at Exe Valley and is often on hand to answer your technical queries.  Nick also runs the busy web sites including this one and prepares monthly reports regarding the fishery.  Email Nick Here

SUE HART

Sue has been married to Nick for 6 years and they have been together for over 10.  She decided to join Nicks quest to build the business after hearing endless hours of fishing banter on the telephones!  As you can see, Sue is also a dab hand with the rod!

Sue is in charge of the day to day running of the shop and is on hand to assist with your purchases of Smoked Fish or Hampers.

In amongst these duties she is also a Mum to our lovely children Chester aged one and our baby girl Scarlett.
